International Coffee Break

Central Hotel and Cafe, Copenhagen

It all started when...

I wanted to combine my love for travel and coffee for a University project in 2016. I decided that I needed to see Paris and taste the lattes there, so I booked some tickets in February and never looked back.

Since then, I've traveled to document 5 coffee shops for each  international city. I've checked off Bath, London, Miami, Copenhagen, and Paris. To my surprise, I discovered that coffee shop research forces you to wander into amazing neighborhoods that a tourist wouldn't have even known of. It's a beautiful way to explore a city and meet the people who reside within it.

I also learned that coffee shops serve as an amazing tool. They are an extension of the home and they exist all over the world. Their environments are welcoming to all, whether you choose to read, write, watch, listen, draw, or simply exist! It's a silent community that begs to be utilized. They make the world feel a little bit smaller too. enjoy some of the photos that have been born out of this project. To see my coffee guide to Paris, click here.
